The Best Dim Sum in Hong Kong | Lin Heung Kui

Written by Ariel

We traveled all the way to Hong Kong to find some of the best local foods. Dim Sum is one of the most iconic dishes you have to try if you travel to Hong Kong. In this episode, we ate in a restaurant called Lin Heung Kui. Don’t be confused between Lin Heung Tea House and Lin Heung Kui. This one here is Lin Heung Kui. They actually have the same serving style, same authentic Cantonese cuisine.

Dim sum trolleys and huge bamboo baskets are rolling across the floor every now and then. Although the dishes were a bit limited, we tried delicious and mouthwatering dim sum like Siu Mai 烧卖, Ha Gow 鮮蝦餃, Fish Maw & Beancurd Roll 鮮竹魚肚扎 and many more. At first, we thought it was gonna be packed and busy but people are generally quiet relax here. They were enjoying their morning tea, reading the newspaper while at the same time filling up their stomach with different dim sum.

If you stay around Sheung Wan area in Hong Kong, it’s hard not to recommend this local restaurant. While there are better options out there, Lin Heung Kui will not disappoint you.

Till next time! Stay foolish, stay hungry!
